For certain conditions a surgeon will recommend going to physical therapy before you have surgery, this is often referred to as “Pre-hab.” This treatment time prior to a surgical procedure has actually been shown to improve your results following surgery and reduce your overall recovery time.
If you have had surgery or plan to have surgery your therapist will coordinate closely with your surgeon following surgery (“post-op”) and follow the surgeon's prescribed rehabilitation protocol, so that you can get back to doing the things you love, as quickly and as safely as possible.

We provide simplified online scheduling for convenience. Services not only include pain relief, but also, balance or vertigo treatment, pre-hab and post-op care as well.
Common symptoms that physical therapy can treat include: moderate to severe pain, lingering pain, sprains, strains, tear, torn, limited range of motion, if you feel (Sharp, dull, pressure, tingling, nerve symptoms, zinging) in muscles or ligaments, impingement, burning pain, muscle spasms, ligament sprains, ache, or swelling.
Blake Galbraith,
PT, DPT, Cert. DN
Blake Galbraith, PT, DPT, Cert. DN is a Rexburg local and grew up working at a family-owned business, Interwest Cabinet. Blake graduated from Madison High School, served an LDS mission in Fort Worth, TX, and attended BYU-I where he received a bachelor's degree in Business Management Finance. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Touro University in Nevada. Dr. Galbraith is also certified in dry needling, and trained in spinal manipulation therapy. He enjoys camping, Jeeping, snow skiing, horseback riding, and anything he and his wife Sarah, son McCoy and their dog Kozmo can do together. Dr. Galbraith is the owner of Boost Physical Therapy in Rexburg and he is excited to help get you back to doing what you love.
